I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Harley's Team

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Now I need your help! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Harley Fetterman is my son. He has been dealing with childhood cancer and the side effects of it since he was 5 years old in 2003. And he has seen many different aspects of what cancer can do. Just after his 5th birthday, he was diagnosed with an optic glioma, a tumor growing from his optic chiasm. This affected the sight in both his eyes and he started learning braille and taking chemotherapy. He has had reactions between chemotherapy and food that caused severe migraines resembling strokes. The tumor grew into his hypothalamus and has caused problems with his thyroid and testosterone production. He had hydrocephalus of the brain when the cyst around his tumor grew so large that his ventricles of his brain became clogged. The optic nerve to his right eye was severed to remove most of the tumor and he only has sight in one eye. He now has Myelodysplastic Syndrome brought on by one of the chemotherapies he took in 2005 and it has morphed into Leukemia. He is taking chemotherapy and preparing for a bone marrow transplant,

The money that St. Baldrick's raises goes towards creating better treatments for cancer that could prevent the problems that Harley has had. Thank you for any support you can provide.
