I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Highlands Heroes

I am raising money for  St. Baldrick's because I would like to help children who have cancer. Did you know that a child is diagnosed with cancer around the globe every 3 minutes? I am choosing St. Baldrick's because cancer has affected my life and many other peoples lives, especially at our school, Highlands. Our principal, Mrs. Stucky, died because of cancer. I have also had family members who have had cancer. I chose this organization because my family and friends have been participating in St. Baldrick's for the past couple of years, so I feel comfortable participating in this organization. I have read  on this website, that childhood cancer is the least funded cancer and the kids that die young, never have a chance to live out the rest of their lives. So will you stand with me and help us fund children with cancer.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
