I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blue Devil Baldies

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blue Devil Baldies

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

If a person had to pick a single identifying characteristic about me and my appearance, the number one answer would most likely be my voluminous, messy top knot bun. Since birth, I've always had a full head of unruly, dark hair but that's about to change. In conjunction with my wonderful classmates at the Duke Physician Assistant program, I'm going to shave my head to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.

That's correct; with your help, I'm about to be bald for the first time in my life.  Aren't you slightly curious what weird lumps and bumps are hiding under these messy curls? We can all figure out what my scalp looks like together with a small donation towards my goal. As an added bonus, my hair will be donated to create wigs for cancer patients after it's cut. So really it's a win-win-win situation.
