I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: D5

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: D5

This whole mess started last January as a bet with my son Danny as to who could have the longest hair for a Locks for Love event this spring,  He lost the bet early this fall when he gave up and cut his hair. By this time it had turned into a quest. So after my daughter Stacy convinced me not to do Locks for Love, I decided to join my friend Ameen in shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I am donating the money I won on my bet to this cause and also to help raise more  money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.  You will also get to laugh at all the lumps, bumps and crevices on my big ol' jug head.

I found out that a friend from work lost her daughter to a brain tumor in 2006.  So I am dedicating this to Monica Clontz.  Her mother Michelle runs a tight ship  at work but is a good soul.
