I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: OUWB School of Medicine

Hey everyone. For those of you that don’t know, my younger sister Bridget lost her battle to cancer at the age of 12. She has been a huge inspiration and motivation throughout my life, and her battle with cancer is a huge reason I made the decision to go to medical school. I’m currently in my first year of medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and I’m helping run an event called “St. Baldrick’s Day”. This is an event where people shave their heads to both help raise awareness and raise money that gets donated to fund childhood cancer research.Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I will be shaving my head on March 16th to help such a great cause.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
