I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: North Ridge

We have all been touched by cancer. If not ourselves, someone we know, someone we love, a family member or friend. When that person is a child the devastation is so much worse. Please help find a cure.

This year I am dedicating my St Baldrick’s efforts in the honor of two colleagues who lost their battle with cancer a few years ago, Donna Duval and Leslie Renkewitz. It is not their loss I am honoring, but their lives as educators. These women were dedicated professionals who worked tirelessly for the children in their classes. They were creative, caring, nurturing teachers who loved their profession and working with young children. Their commitment was evident in their daily, enthusiastic efforts to bring out the best in their students. They left behind young families of their own and are still missed here at North Ridge.

What better way to honor Donna and Leslie than to find a cure for cancer. Won’t you help me?
