I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Nurses Go Bald

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. That paragraph was automatically put in by the website and I am keeping it because it has important information about the cause, but I would also like to add more about why I am doing this. I became a pediatric nurse this year and it has been the proudest accomplishment of my life. Taking care of children is such a blessing. They bring light and laughter to my life every day. The thought of a child being diagnosed with cancer, going through brutal treatments, and the hardship of the fight against their disease breaks my heart. I want to help in any way that I can to find ways to cure these beautiful children. Please consider donating to help them, too. Thank you.
