I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: S.M.I.L.E.

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: S.M.I.L.E.

Hey yall- So guess what?! I am shaving my head in April!! Why? To raise money for childhood cancer research AND awareness! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. (I had no idea) Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by signing up for this and raising money!  As a teacher-in-training, this cause speaks to my heart.  Our little people deserve every chance they can get to live long, happy lives, and by shaving my head I want to help children all around the world (as well as adults who are suffering) realize that they are not alone; bald is beautiful and hair does NOT define beauty! Cancer doesn't win!

Now I need your help. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Every dollar you donate means I'm that much closer to shaving my head for those kiddos- lets do this!! I'm ready! Are you?
