I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2019

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Class of 2019

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. More children are lost to cancer in the US than any other disease.

While more adults than kids are diagnosed with cancer, the diagnosis cuts an average of 70 years off the life of a kid.  In addition, there is a huge funding gap in research for kids' cancer versus adults' cancer; only 4% of federal funding benefits children's cancer research.
I, along with my peers at LSUHSC Shreveport, decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
