I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Peeled Onions

This is my fourth year volunteering with St. Baldrick's. My first year I shaved my head. Once you sign up to participate you can pick a child to sponsor as you journey through the experience.  About a week before the main head-shaving event I checked in on my child to see how she was doing. Her status had been updated to 'Angel'. That was when I realized that any fears I had about shaving my head paled in comparison and what I was about to do was the easy part. It made me push extra hard for donations. Here is where you come in....

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
