Pre-Shave:

I AM BEGGING/CHALLENGING AND WORKING (wash your car, dog, or grandpa..lol)  FOR YOUR DONATION.... PLEASE JUST $1 OR MORE CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! I'm shaving my head for a second year in honor of my GodSon, Navada Eschete & CHILDREN EVERYWHERE who are being diagnosed and fighting  cancer. Even one child suffering  is one too many. My Godson, Navada Eschete was given his diagnosis on Christmas Eve 2014 of Anaplastic Large Cell NonHodgkins Lymphoma. He spent every day of the next 9 months at St Jude in Memphis, where he underwent multiple chemo treatments. Some of these treatments left him beaten and sicker than we as healthy people can rarely, truly understand. He is now in remission because of Dr's and treatments like the ones St Baldricks funds and support. Upon returning home, he and his mother had to begin life all over again (losing their home and all of their belongings ie. pictures, clothes, etc.. all while they were fighting for his life and undergoing horrific treatments). St Baldricks, upon hearing this, supplied Vada and his mother a full and amazing Christmas and helped with bills that they had stressed and worried about. That's just another way St Baldricks has stepped up to bat for a family that was suffering thru this unbelievably difficult time. Unfortunately, we have over 500,000 children a year being told they have cancer, and we are losing hundreds of thousands to these illnesses. What most people do NOT realize is... kids cancers are so different than adult cancers. They are different types, treated differently, different medicines, different surgeries and types of tools for those surgeries ... different doctors/hospitals.  Although, our government spends millions on cancer research ...ONLY 3%.... that's RIGHT...ONLY THREE PERCENT of that goes towards CHILDRENS cancer research and treatments.  Its time we step up and make a difference. Its time we train more Doctors to treat and cure these kids. Its time to help fund research that will save their lives and make their treatments more accessible. PLEASE HELP ME DO THIS..... I'm BEGGING YOU... Please donate $1 (or more) to St Baldricks Foundation. I am shaving my head down to the skull, shiny- bald to stand with these kids and help them to know ...THEY ARE NOT ALONE IN  THEIR FIGHT!!! please pledge your dollar towards my shave and help me reach my goal!!! WE WILL MAKE A DIFFRENCE> AND WE WILL FIND WAYS TO CURE AND TREAT OUR MOST TREASURED ASSETS...OUR KIDS!!!!!  Come on...yall...im shaving my head. PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY YOU CAN!!!! ....just ONE LITTLE DOLLAR...IT WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! PLEASE!!! Check out the St Baldricks website for more information on the different ways your dollars actually are making a difference in Kids lives ...GEAUX ST BALDRICKS !!!  Please join us at Finn McCools in New Orleans on March 19, 2016 to enjoy great music, food, drink specials and amazing auction. AND..to watch as over 100 participants, like myself, shave their heads to raise money to fund this cause.  This day is magical and all proceeds are directly given to St Baldricks Foundation.   **SPECIAL DEDICATION TO MY MOM, Margaret Louise Bankston, who we lost to Bladder Cancer in 2013.. Thanks, Mom,  for making me crazy & strong. **
