I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi, guys! I'm shaving my head to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research! Because this is my first time doing this and I know money is tight for a lot of people, I've set a small fundraising goal of $100. 175,000 children are diagnosed worldwide in a given year and it is the largest leading cause of death in young people in the U.S. and Canada. With all the different types of cancer out there, Child cancer makes up less than 1% of diagnosed cases each year and therefore research is terribly underfunded. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is one of the leading organizations in the world for supporting this research and changing lives. The purpose of shaving when you could just give money is simple: people lose their hair when they endure cancer treatment. For me, choosing to be rid of my hair was easy, but a lot of people don't have that choice.
