I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

As the parent of a childhood cancer survivor, I feel it is a responsibility I now bear to find a way to make a difference. Our family has participated in another local St. Baldrick's event for several years, established the Morgan and Friends Hero Fund and now we would like to grow our community of events. We have been encouraged to do this through the support of so many wonderful people. We have been inspired to do this because we have met and continue to meet too many whose lives have been changed forever. This will be the inaugural event for Alliance, Ohio.

We are so excited to have partners from Mount Union, Stark State and Buffalo Wild Wings helping us to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer.

This is a difficult road to travel, but it is comforting to have friends, family and communities who want to see a real impact in the fight against cancer. We hope that someday our efforts will strip childhood cancer of the title: "Number 1 disease killer of kids."
