I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Rally for Ryan & Natalie

Hello! This is my 7th year participating as a shavee for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.  While I am very excited that I will be "sworn in as a knight of the bald table" at my event (because it's my 7th year),  I couldn't be more thrilled to have the opportunity to once again support this absolutely amazing organization. I am shaving my head BALD in solidarity with kids fighting cancer but more importantly, to raise money to find life-saving cures and better treatments for those who are fighting.  I want children to be able to have the same opportunities that I had in growing up. No child should be robbed of their childhood. My 2015 event in Viera, Florida was another incredible day of unity and excitement as 400 heads were shaved, and $300,000 was raised for childhood cancer research!!! I am very, very proud to say that the St. Baldrick's Foundation has raised over $34 million so far in 2015......incredible!!!! However, there is still much research to be done and cures to be found as each and every day 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer and 7 kids lose their battle with this disease. I am so very honored to once again be on Team "Rally for Ryan & Natalie".  Their journeys are listed among the "Kids Honored" section below.....please read their inspiring stories!!!! This website is a testament to the strength and courage that children with this disease display. I hope that my attempt to help raise awareness of the disease and funds to aid in trying to find a cure will make a measurable difference in the lives of you, me, and the children afflicted by cancer. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This year, like the past few, the financial situation of many has been tough. I would like to stress that even donations of $1, $5, or $10 are more than welcome, and the thousands of children that this organization helps are very thankful for any and all that you are able to give. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. All you have to do is click on the green "MAKE A DONATION" box to the right of my photo (see above). The fastest way to donate is via credit card. Thank you in advance for your continued support. Also, please note that for EVERY DOLLAR donated through my page, I WILL match it with a personal donation......the sky's the limit!!!! Please feel free to attend the event in Viera and either cheer all of us on as I and 400 other proud souls shave our heads and stand in solidarity with these fighting kids OR join us by shaving your head as well.  In either case, I PROMISE YOU it will CHANGE your life forever!!!!!  I will wear my baldness proudly knowing that I have done something to help children hopefully get the same chance to enjoy life as I have been able to do. Thank you, and God Bless!! It's not what is on your head, but what is in your heart. I shave because I care and because these kids deserve the very, very best that we can give them!!!!!!!
