My son, Bryant, 18 & his little friend, Kena, 19-months old are in the fight for their life against cancer.
Bryant was diagnosed Oct. 27, 2014 with cancer. We learned it was Stage 4 Neuroendocrine cancer Nov. 4, 2014.
There is no cure for his cancer. Bryant's cancer had already spread over his entire body when it was first discovered.
Kena was diagnosed with Stage 3 Germ Cell Tumor on her uterus & cervix July 7, 2014. Kena has undergone chemo with little to no results. She has now undergone two very invasive surgeries to remove her cancer. A CT scan done Aug. 4, 2015 showed Kena's cancer has now spread to her lungs. She is now doing two rounds of aggressive chemo.
Bryant & Kena met during Bryant's first chemo Nov.17, 2015. They had an immediate connection & are now fighting for their life's together.
It may not be soon enough to help Bryant & Kena, but it will other families. We want to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So In honor of our sweet babies, we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now Kena's mom, Dawn D. Spivey & myself, Janet Cooper, need your help!
Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Or join our team as a Shavee! Bryant & Kena were bald for months. Show your support for them by shaving yours at home or at the St.Baldrick's Shave-a-Thon Sept. 5 at the home of the Blue Wahoo's In Pensacola just hours prior to one of their games!
Get people to sponsor you & raise a bundle for research.
