I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

A year ago, Emma shared that she wanted to shave her head to support friends that have lost their hair because of chemo. She decided to interview several friends who have been affected by cancer, to ask if this type of support would help them. She wanted to understand if it made them feel more secure, to see supporters shave their heads in solidarity. She came away deciding that when the time came, she wanted to shave her head.

After a year of thinking and these discussions, Emma had a now or never moment. We researched this week and found an event near-by. So, despite the short notice, we'll have a baldy tomorrow! Sophie, her 7 year old sister is considering participating- we'll see after tomorrow!
