I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi, my name is Dylan. I am a healthy 10 year old little boy, with a heart of gold! Since I was born, my Mom has consistently reinforced how lucky our family is to have two beautiful and healthy children. I have met other children who are just like me, but have had to battle through horrible treatments and doctors and surgery, and some of them are still sick. My Mom started helping children long before I was born, but by the age of 4 1/2, I wanted to participate too! We went to our first St Baldrick's Day, to watch and support many of Mommy's friends, and by the night's end, I ended up as one of the youngest Shavees! I was only 4 1/2, but I got to meet a little boy my age, at the event, who this Children's Cancer Research money was made to support. They take sign ups at the event for any spectators who want to join! I was so excited to be able to play with this special little boy, and I got my head shaved just like him! My mom has the photos of the very first one, on Facebook, with this year's info. I raised $100 past shave that year, from my family.

We participated again when I was 6, and then came back last year, and raised over $330 from our family and friends. I even got donations from Across the Pond, from a wonderful family in England.
This year is shaping up to be the best one yet. I have let my hair grow out, and have asked Mom daily how many more days until I shave!!!
Now, the time has come, and I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I love you all, and I can't wait to share this year's wonderful story with you! Keep watching Mommy's Facebook page for photos and updates and how it goes! I am so excited to show you!!
