I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This worthy endeavour is very personal to me and to my entire family, as well as to all my friends and co-workers. My niece Rachael has been bravely fighting her cancer for almost two years now. She and her family have donated their time and their energy to this worthy cause even though time and energy are in short supply these days due to her ongoing treatment. My brave niece Rachael has been an inspiration to all that know her, and to countless others who she has never even met. Putting her energies in to this very worthwhile cause has been a much needed distraction from her own day -to- day struggles with her illness. If anyone knows Rachael, they know that that is very much a part of who she is as a person, to think of others in her own time of need. We are so very proud of her.
