I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team OdysseyRe

Odyssey Re & Hudson Insurance have been supporting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation since 2007, making a lasting difference in the lives of kids with cancer. During that time, employees around the country have joined together in the mission to Conquer Childhood Cancers. Employees, supported by a generous corporate matching gift, have raised more than $500,000 during that time.In 2012, based on this support Odyssey Re became a Bronze Level Sponsor of the Foundation, with logo featured on the St. Baldrick’s event T-Shirts. In 2014, the continued, increased support by both employees and at the corporate level, sponsorship recognition was increased to Silver level, and both the Odyssey Re and Hudson Insurance are featured on our event T-shirts.The employee engagement (in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Overland Park) has been incredible, with such notable shavees as Chris Gallagher (a shavee in 2009 and 2013), Jim Migliorini (a shavee in 2009 and 2014), John Parker (a shavee in 2013 and 2014), Jay Behan (a shavee in 2008 and 2014), Robert Bean (a shavee in 2011 through 2014) and Blair Holl (a shavee in 2011 and 2013).OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2015The Foundation is honored by the level of support exhibited by Odyssey / Hudson. We hope that your team will continue to support and grow the effort into more cities. In addition to the cities where you are currently involved, we would love to explore additional opportunities, and to work to help you engage more employees in more locations:- The Foundation has international partner arrangements in Canada, the UK, Australia, Japan and Singapore if your teams there are interested in joining or organizing local events in those locales.- The Foundation is seeking to grow in both Miami and San Francisco, and would love to work with your teams there to help establish and grow our presence.
