I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Snow Angels

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Snow Angels

Well, I almost missed sign ups for the event this year... Guess that goes with the 'I'm the last kid in my family so my parents are tired' part of my birth order! :) Good thing I'm pretty persistent... all signed up and ready to shave now!

Last year when I joined the Snow Angels team I didn't really know what to expect. I hadn't been to anything like it before. My parents had been talking about how amazing it was to see so many people coming together in support of kids like me so I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I don't think my parents were prepared, though for how they would feel seeing me bald again after all those years. Guess it brought back some uncomfortable memories for them.
I was too tiny to remember any of it, but know it is something that was very hard for my family. Because of that I want to help raise funds for other kids and families so there will be no more cancer in the world. Mom wants me to be a doctor when I grow up, but I'd rather play baseball or something more fun. :) Either way, I won't ever forget my own journey and will continue to inspire and help others even if it's only in this small way.
Now I need your help. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Please say you will and donate today - your dollar could be the one that saves the life of the next Oncology Doctor, President of the United States... or Major League Baseball player!!
