I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 6 Is a Serious Number

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 6 Is a Serious Number

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!  I am shaving my head in honor of Joe Green. Joe was a great athlete, neighbor and most importantly a great friend. Even though I really only knew Joe for a few years we became really close. Whether it was playing Mario Kart or soccer we always had a great time together. After Joe passed I felt like there was something that could have been done to prevent it, but I knew that as a twelve year old I couldn't have done anything more than the doctors. The one thing I can do is to donate and inspire others to donate to this extremely underfunded research.

I cannot imagine having to go to the doctors everyday or getting shots all the time and that is what kids with cancer have to go through. That is why I am shaving my head to help provide kids like Joe and others with cancer a way to make their lives easier.
