I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's that time again. St. Baldrick's is back. I'm shaving my head and raising money to fund research for cures to childhood cancers. Every little bit helps, anything you can give. Last year, in a little more than a month, I raised over 700 dollars. This year, with just under three months left, I'm looking for more. I set my goal at 1000 dollars, but I know we can go even above and beyond that. Share this with your friends, family, community and help make a difference. Thanks guys.

This year, I am participating in St. Baldrick's to represent Team Ryan. My cousin, Ryan, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. His treatment consists of five rounds of chemotherapy as well as one round of targeted radiation. Halfway through his treatment, there has been an 80% reduction in his tumors, and we are proud to say that he will be cancer free in May. Team Ryan: We're Here to Kick Cancer's Butt.

Remember, every little bit helps to fund research, so that someday, every child who has to go through this, can proudly announce that they overcame it, and kicked cancer's butt, and hopefully, someday, we can eradicate this disease completely.

Thanks again. Spread the word. Come to the event at Crosstown Pub on April 18th. Donate. Make a difference.
