I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

For the 4th year I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.

l was first made away of cancer when my classmate, Sadie, was diagnosed with Neroblastoma when we were in 1st grade. A few years later, I was introduced to St. Baldrick's when my friends were participating in a shaving event... then I discovered the organization was helping Sadie and her family. I signed up to shave my head. Since my first year, thanks to YOUR HELP, I have raised $8,081.00!
I am sad to let you know, after a 7 year battle, Sadie passed away on New Year's Eve 2014.
This year I am raising money in her memory, my goal is $4,000.
Thank you for your continued support,
Speeroa
