I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

My son is now 21 and has been cancer free for more then 6 years and living a normal young man's life. When he was 13 he was diagnosed with stage III Hodgkin's Lymphoma for which he under went 4 rounds of chemo and 14 days of radiation treatments. He lost ALL of his hair but NOT his fighting spirit. I was honored and proud to shave my head for St. Baldrick's in 2010 and 2014 and appear live on SU2C in 2010. In 2012 my husband Alan, who is also a cancer survivor shaved his head in Los Angeles to honor our son. Jared is a junior at CSULB and is attending The University of Limerick in Ireland for a semester abroad. We are thrilled that our son will be in remission 7 years on July 8th 2015 and dream of a happy and healthy future for him. Please donate in honor of Jared and all the other kids who continue to battle cancer, have lost their young lives to cancer or will have to battle the beast in the future.
