I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cirque du SoBald

Yes, I am going to have my head shaved again… on March 7…raising money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation. The Foundation uses the money raised for childhood cancer research. An impressive list of facilities receiving 2014 grants can be found with the following link: http://www.stbaldricks.org/blog/post/2014-fall-grants . Please take a look at the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website to appreciate the extent and intention of the Foundation. Why am I shaving? An easy one to answer...for each of the 14,664 pillowcases our Southern Nevada Chapter of ConKerr Cancer has delivered to medical facilities, for the families of 200 kids who enjoy Camp Cartwheel each summer, for the 46 children diagnosed with cancer each weekday in the US, and, personally, for the good fortune of having healthy children and grandchildren. I feel blessed. Please know that every donation, no matter how small or how big, will make a difference. When you see your bald- friend, sister, mother, grandmother- smiling, know that you will be the cause of that grin. With much appreciation…Natalie
