I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

My daughter Ciara is a childhood cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma as a toddler. This year she started her first year of high school and has never looked back. Her survival was possible because of lifesaving cancer research that has been completed and improved survival rates for childhood cancer significantly over the last 20 years. However we have witnessed the loss many beautiful children to cancer who we have met through Ciara's diagnosis. Our family is fighting for the cure so that no child has to die from cancer or the harsh effects of cancer treatment. This dream can be a reality. Every child deserves a future and no family should have suffer the loss of a beautiful child.
