I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my seventh year shaving my head in order to raise funds for cancer research. So far, I have raised $7,837! I started doing this when I was just 6 years old with my cousin Katie who was battling cancer. Sadly, Katie passed away on May 20, 2011. A cousin on the other side of my family Hunter, is now 13 and doing really good following treatment for a brain tumor. My Nana is also fighting brain cancer, so I am doing this for her too!! My own health was effected when I had a brain hemorrhage from an Angioma in October of 2011. I am working hard in my own recovery from my brain hemorrhages, and have been busy supporting the Angioma Alliance through the Zach Brown 5K for Angioma Alliance. But it is still very important to me to help other kids living with diseases. Thank you for helping. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
