I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

Hi everyone, my name is Malek Mostafa and I am a Freshman at Westmont High School. This is my fifth year raising money for St. Baldrick's. 2014 was a very tough year for me. Not only did I lose an uncle to Stage 4 Colon Cancer, but I also lost an aunt (my uncle's wife) to Stage 4 Kidney Cancer within five months of one another. My two cousins, ages 24 and 23 are now without parents. A girl that went to my school, Emily, also lost her battle to cancer just a week before her 16th birthday. Four years ago I started raising money for St. Baldrick's to support a friend of mine who lost his 5-year old sister to cancer in 2008 and it seems like each year, the list of people I know fighting this disease gets larger. I want to show my support and help raise money for this deadly disease.
Last year with the help of friends and family, I was able to raise over $4,000 and I thank all of you for your support. I hope that you will support me again this year with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Every dollar counts so I'm hoping that you will make a small donation. I hope that whatever money I raise will help to find a cure for this deadly disease. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.
Thank you!
