I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM GORUCK

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM GORUCK

I've been deeply touched in the last few years by cancer, lymphoma particularly. Ridding myself of my "one great beauty," grown out since 2007, is an act of solidarity and remembrance with those who have been touched to an even greater degree than I.
Many friends and family members have expressed chagrin at my decision and don't want to donate for baldness. Ok. IF you want me to keep my hair, DONATE and either in the public comments or in the private message to me upon donation say "DON'T DO IT" or something similar. If the Naysayers give more than the Shorners, I'll only do a very close crop and still donate the requisite inches of my locks. If you don't comment I'll assume you are for my baldness.
The boilerplate is this: I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

"We can do no great things, only small things with great love." Please help.
