I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Two weeks before my first year of college I lost my grandmother to an enduring and arduous battle with lung cancer.  My Nanna was without a doubt everything wonderful and radiant in this world.  To this day she is my inspiration and light in not only what I do, but who I am.  After she passed away we prayed that there would be no more heartache and pain for those we love and cherish.  Unfortunately this year that hope was shattered when my aunt was diagnosed with colon cancer.  At this difficult time we are doing our best to stay strong and support her on her road to recovery.  For me St. Baldrick's means so much more than shaving my head; it's my way of honoring those I love most and providing these amazing children with their best chance.  So please join me in spreading love and giving hope.
