I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I first heard about St. Baldrick's from a fellow at work. He let his hair grow an entire month. I didn't think much of it, until one day he arrived with his hair shaved clean off. I remarked on it, and he explained: he had done it to raise money for childhood cancer research. I was kind of blown away. It was such a simple thing to do for such an amazing cause. I knew then I wanted to do the same thing. So, here I am. Childhood cancer has touched my family. It's touched other families I know, and have known. While I can appreciate the amazing courage and strength of the children, family, and friends affected by childhood cancer, I would rather it didn't touch anyone at all. That's why I'm choosing to shave my head to help fund this research. I would appreciate it if you would consider helping out, either with a donation, or by considering becoming a shavee yourself. Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)
