I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: "Ragnar 12" Relay Team

I am raising money for pediatric cancer. I bet you did not know that every day, in the United States, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer...my son's date was November 3, 2004. Additionally, 7 children die as a result of pediatric cancer every day....December 19, 2006 he was one of the 7. I have the unfortunate distinction of knowing 2 of the 7 that died that day. Most St. Baldrick's participants shave their heads in solidarity of these brave children. I, on the other hand keep mine shaved in memory of my son....so me shaving my head as a fundraiser really doesn't have an impact, so I have searched for a different way to inspire you to donate to my cause. I have signed up for the Ragnar Relay, a 198 mile relay race from Miami to Key West, Fl .....yes my fat ass will be running 3 legs of the relay. I will endure just a minute fraction of the pain that my son, and all cancer kids endure, for 24 hours, I will have pain, shortness of breath, nausea...all the same things that they endure.....but my pain will end...theirs will not! My challenge to you.....sponsor me for the miles I run... $0.10 per mile or $1 or $10 .... I will work for you, you pay these kids what you think it's worth. My training (treatment) begins tomorrow, September 2, I will endure pain and agony until my day of remission February 7, 2015. Help me to help put an end to this horrific disease..so no child will have to endure this pain, and no parent suffers through the demands of treatment.
