I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey guys! This will be my first time volunteering for St. Baldrick's foundation, and I have to say I am very excited and a bit nervous! My volunteer work goes back to 2004 as a mentor for at-risk youth to present day Children's Cancer association, where I was matched with my first kiddo in 2008. I am on my 5th kiddo and each experience takes my breath away. As a chemo pal I bring toys, games, movies, you name it to my kiddo's chemo appointments and simply play, laugh and talk. I have always felt I needed to do more in the name of children's cancer and that's when I came across St. Baldrick's fondation. I will happily shave my head, donate a little, and hope others will follow in my path by donating or spreading the word. Every bit helps! Thanks;-) I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
