I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Although I don't personally know any children who have been impacted by cancer, I have learned the importance of early detection through experiences of my loved ones. This year I will am shaving my head (the longest locks I have ever had) in honor of Jordan (10) from Luling, LA. You can read more about Jordan's story on my webpage. Please consider making a small donation toward my modest inaugural goal of $50. Part of my motivation for this is to also raise awareness. So I hope you'll excuse my candid remarks and encourage you to speak with me openly about the topic of cancer. For starters, did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded, so I hope you'll join me to make an impact today. Respectfully yours, -Alex
