I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: In Honor of Greg Krause

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I have seen people participate in this fundraiser but I learned so much more about it when my dear friend and nursing peer Amy Krause and her husband Dr. Greg Krause participated last year. Amy and Greg were both so dedicated to the St Baldrick's cause. Sadly, on March 13, 2014, Greg tragically died in a motor vehicle accident. Greg was a beloved friend and doctor to everyone who knew him. As part of our support and love for Amy, we are creating a St Baldrick's team to not only to support the children dealing with cancer but to honor an amazing doctor who was admired by all who knew him. Greg, you will be missed sorely but never forgotten. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers....and Greg's passion for this cause will be honored.
