I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Howie, Sean and Lake

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Howie and Sean are my best friends and we are all going to support each other on March 29th. I also want to show my support to the St. Baldrick's Organization and fight to put an end to Pediatric Cancer. Please help to support and spread our message! Hello All, I am sending this to all of you because I feel my son Lake, and his dear friends Howie and Sean Morgenthaler, are doing something pretty special. Along with Howie and Sean's awesome dad, known affectionately as Coach Ed, are going to have their heads shaved in honor of the Morgenthalers' beloved Uncle, who is currently battling brain cancer. Lake, has chosen to participate in, and support this event because of his love of the Morgenthaler family. Lake, also is doing this for a beloved uncle, within our own family, who is currently fighting follicular lymphoma. Many of you have been affected by cancer in some way. The bottom line is, cancer sucks!! The only good thing that I can say about it, is it seems to bring out the best in people. A great example of this, is the event that all of the boys are participating in, called St. Baldricks. This is a foundation that is set up to raise monies, in order to fight childhood cancers. All donations are tax deductible. Personally, Ed was the one who told us about what he and the boys were doing. Lake, immediately wanted to show his support!! Brian and I were very proud of him because if any of you know Lake, he loves his hair!! In fact, he was trying to grow it out a bit before he starts Jr. High in the Fall. He wanted his hair to look "boss!" However, once he found out about what the Morgenthalers were doing, he was willing to "sacrifice" his locks for them, their uncle, his uncle, all the people, and all of those children who have struggled, are struggling, or we lost due to this horrific disease. I normally do not ask for support, but I felt this time I was going to make an exception. Please pass this along!! Support and awareness of organizations like St. Baldricks is so important!! Check out Howie, Sean, and Ed's link too!! You all are invited to watch the boys go through this process on March 29th. This event will be held at Trinity Hall Irish Pub and Restaurant, 5321 E. Mockingbird Lane #250 Dallas, TX. The boys will be getting their shaves on at 1:45pm :)))). Fondly, Stephanie and Brian Johnson P.S. Hayden, was willing to participate in this as well, if we really needed her too. We told her that she didn't need to shave her head, and by being at the event with her brother, and the Morgenthalers is an excellent way for her to show her support!! I believe she was a bit more than relieved ;)).
