I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Lemont PD

I have been passionate about raising funds for pediatric cancer research and treatment for most of my life via St. Jude, Kicks for Cancer and American Cancer Society, however the passion I have for St. Baldrick's Day has motivated me to become an active supporter in their Events over the past few years. To be able to actively "DO SOMETHING" is a blessing and I applaud St. Baldrick's Foundation for creating the opportunity for all who participate to walk around with bare heads, freshly shaved heads or chins, communicating their devotion and commitment to our young angels who are battling cancer, or who have lost their battle verifying their names, battle, and legacy will be remembered. My father used to look at the Pediatric Cancer floors, when he was in treatment, and say he would take his battle a hundred times over to spare one child from this pain and the misery of the battle that he all too well understood firsthand. If you can support this Event please know whether it is $1, $10 or more that I celebrate and appreciate every dollar and thank you for helping to work to reduce, and hopefully eliminate, the number of children diagnosed, battling, or have lost their battle to cancer. Wishing you much peace & love, Terri
