I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

GABRIEL’S SHAVE Last year, my 12 year old cousin Andie decided to shave her head with her class. She asked me to join her because they wanted more people on their team. I did not want to since I do not like to have my haircut. At the very end of the event last year, I made the choice to shave my head. It felt fun and rewarding to do such a little deed to make such a big difference for other children. I look forward to doing it again this year and have not cut my hair since last year’s event. Even though my life has not been affected by childhood cancer, I have known many people that have fought for their lives battling cancer. In honor and memory of some very special people in my life, I again want to shave my head and raise money for St. Baldricks to help fight against childhood cancer.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
