Whether directly or indirectly, each of us has been affected in some way by pediatric cancer. If not your own family then you certainly have a friend, colleague, or fellow community member whose family has had to deal with the devastaing news that one of their children has cancer. Although research has enabled great strides to be made in the fight against this dreaded disease, not every child who is stricken with cancer survives.
My wife Lisa works with all pediatric populations, including pediatric oncology patients. She has experienced both the joy of seeing kids conquer cancer and the devastation families feel when cancer wins out. The only way to eradicate this disease is through research. St. Badricks is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
