I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Makanalani Oke Akua Ohana

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
My daughter Makanalani oke Akua Konanui was diagnosed with Leukemia AML cancer in August 2012 at age 12 and she passed away at age 15 yr old on April 25, 2012. She fought a long and hard battle. Shes our " Hero" . I wish that every child would be acknowledged as "Hero's" .. They go through a lot and we have learned a lot from our makanalani oke akua. She has taught us the true meaning of Life .Kapiolani Hospital was our second family away from our family off island and we want to help and give back to help in any way I can in honor of makanalani oke akua.. .I miss her a lot. mahalo for reading from makanalani oke akua mama ,, Cheryl :)
