I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LAFD Fire Station 89

My Dear Friends, I am proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Remember - Any sized donation is welcome and helps to make a difference! Through the overwhelming generosity of my sponsors last year, I raised over $3,200 for this event - Thanks to all of you for your kindness and support! Last year's event was a remarkable experience for me and I look forward to be joining the team from Fire Station 89 this year. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I will again be honoring the memory of my friend Eric Benteler, who so bravely fought a long battle with leukemia and continues to live on in our hearts every day. Sadly, too many of us have lost loved ones to various forms of cancer and it is in their honor that I am again participating with the St. Baldrick's Foundation in this important fundraiser. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. THANK YOU! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Donating online is very easy, but if you prefer to send a check, you can download a donation form and take it from there. Your kindness, support, and donation of any size are most sincerely appreciated. And if you are nearby, please consider coming on Saturday, March 15th to watch me go bald and share in this wonderful and family friendly event! Thank you again and bless you, Kurt PS. Please feel free to help out by spreading the word as well or if you would like to volunteer yourself. Thanks so much!
