I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Walker's Warriors

As I hike the 2000-plus miles of the Appalachian Trail (A.T.) during March-September, I will be re-walking those steps I took in 2012 on my "Walking 4 More Tomorrows" hike. On that hike "virtual hikers" joined me with per mile donation to St. Baldricks in order to press on in the on-going battle against Childhood cancers. While I was doing my hike, my daughter, Laura Gorney, was a member of the "46 Mommas Shave For The Brave 2012" class. This year I'm hiking again, and my daughter once again will shave as a member of this year's "46 Mommas Shave For The Brave 2014" class. To be a member of these groups each of the 46 Mommas have heard the doctors say, "Your child has cancer!".
One of the things we learned during my grandson's battle is that childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So let's do something about that by raising funds for cures.

We all need to help! Make a donation today. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
