I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: SpongeBob BaldHead

My son started shaving his head to raise money for childhood cancer research 4 events ago and is shaving his for the fifth time this year. My daughter shaved her head for the last three events. She did this at an age when appearance matters an awful lot to a teenager. My children inspire me with their compassion. I am taking my daughter's place this year.

Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So my son decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I am just following his lead.

Now we need your help! The kids need your help. Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Everyone has their stories of someone they love with a cancer or other disease. I have my own. What I don't have is an explanation to these kids as to why their cancers get fair less funding than they need and deserve.
