I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Scalar

I'm not kidding. I really am shaving my head, and my beard too! It's for an amazing cause - The St. Baldrick's foundation (http://www.stbaldricks.org), raising money to conquer childhood cancers. And the event is coming up quickly on March 20th (only 10 days away!).

As many of you know, this cause hits very close to home. The daughter and family of my close friend and co-worker, Paul Kerr, has experienced the trauma and life changing aspects of childhood cancer. Isla Kerr is a fighter and survivor, and has an amazing success story today due to the efforts of Doctors, fundraisers, and charities like St. Baldrick's around the world, including local hospitals in Toronto, such as Sick Kids.

In exchange for shaving my head (and beard!), I ask for your donation, and also encourage you to join us in Toronto on March 20th to watch me and 79 others get their heads shaved in support of conquering childhood cancer!

I have not raised money for this event before, but as many of you know, I do raise money occasionally. My commitment remains to only solicit donations for charity events twice annually. From a hirsute perspective, this one fits right in with my Movember annual attendance!
