I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I having my head shaved? This year, in my first year of medical school, I have spent a lot of time volunteering and hanging out with Alex, a 10 year old boy who is currently battling through leukemia. His and his family's strength, courage and optimism has inspired me immensely throughout not only my studies, but also in everyday life. As Alex has lost his hair throughout his treatment this year, it will be fun to have HIM personally shave my head! As such, I am raising funds for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick's Foundation that partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. To support me on behalf of these very special kids, please click "Make a Donation" above, or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!
