Ours go to Eleven: For 11 years now, I've answered the call to shave my head to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and more importantly to raise money to find cures.
The cause is more important than ever, but your donations are making a difference: A recent report from the American Cancer Society found that childhood cancers are on the increase---but the rates of deaths from cancer among kids is on the decline. Better treatment and continued research into a cure are making a difference!

I am grateful to so many faithful supporters over the years who have made donations to the St. Baldrick's Foundation each year on my behalf. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
My 11th date with the St. Baldrick’s barber’s chair will be Friday, March 14, at Fado's Irish Pub, 100 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago.
You can't tell from the before picture, but those viking locks no longer exist and the tide is slowly going out on my hairline. Before long, there won’t be anything left to shave, so please act now while we have time! Better yet, step up to join me as a shavee!
Please consider an online donation of whatever size your budget allows and know that I will be grateful for your support. You can donate to St. Baldrick’s directly on my shavee web site:
