I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Friends and family! I am going to shave my head to help raise money to fight against childhood cancer as well as show my support for each person who has been affected by cancer. I am honored to be honoring a most special gal, Sara Knifley, a sweet young lady from my Youth group at church. She was diagnosed with PAPILLARY THYROID CANCER and has fought with the most amazing spirit that I wished to share her love for life. God's hands were in this as the early diagnosis was found following a car accident that led to the diagnosis. God is good and His love is in Sara and her love of life is infectious that I felt led to share. With her help, Sara will shave my head :) as well as being a great inspirations for my journey to fight Childhood cancer! I also will be shaving my head in honor of my beautiful mother, Sharon Kay (Alaspa - Schroeder) Niemi, who lost her battle in 2004 to lung cancer, My Beautiful Grandmother, Violet Alaspa who also lost her battle to lung cancer in 1994, and my most handsome hero, my Grandfather Del Schroeder whom lost his battle to cancer in 2008. I have many family and friends who are currently fighting and wish to shave my head in honor of them. I am an RN who also works an Oncology unit and wish to shave my head in honor of all the special people I have met past, present and because there is no cure...the future. Please help me to reach my goal and with prayer and a great challenge help me to even double or triple it. thank you again to each and everyone for taking the time to read this...it too helps to keep the memory of so many alive. Love and God bless!
