I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Iam also doing this for the following; Mom, she lost all her hair and we shared tears as we trimmed what was left and made the best out of being bald, she remained beautiful (lost to cancer), Dad, couldn't fathom a child going through the painful radiation that he endured (lost to cancer), Dee, my mother-in-law, loved her grandkids and missed them so much, she had to see them one more time even though she had no hair (lost to cancer), Harold, my father-in-law loved everything little, especially babies and children (lost to infazema) David, a classmate and friend with brain cancer, never graduated (lost to cancer), Scott, a classmate who ecouraged kids to do their best in life and on the field (lost to cancer), Laurie, a tough, strong wife, mother and grandmother and a beautifully bald inspiration to us all in our little town (lost to cancer), Heidi, wife and mother of daughters 2 years old and newborn, bald and battling cancer, Nakara and Angelica, two middle school girls, who of all the population on earth should be the most reluctant to shave their heads for any reason, shaved their heads last year for a little girl they know with cancer, also, God, my husband, kids and grandkids who give me courage and hope to take a stand against cancer.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
