I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am shaving my head because when I was in second grade I saw my cousin, Caroline, shave her head for St. Baldrick’s. She was in fourth grade at the time. I am in sixth grade now and I want to stand up for kids with cancer. I will shave my head and become bald by choice. Unfortunately, kids with cancer don’t have a choice and lose their hair because of the medicine they have to take to make them better. My head is going to be shaved on March 8th, 2014, sometime between 5:00 and 8:00 P.M. at Helen Fitzgerald’s located at 3650 South Lindbergh. If you would like to come by, I would love to see you. I am trying to raise money to donate to St. Baldrick's and want to raise $2,000!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
