I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: theCHIVE Maryland

Dear Friends I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures I first began supporting St. Baldrick's Foundation in 2008 when the child of a very good friend was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). In 2011 I stepped up my involvement and became a shavee. Over the past few years I have shaved four times and raised over $4000. After shaving for St. Baldrick's in 2013 I decided to stay bald, not that I had much hair to lose in the first place. Jimmy has been in remission for over two years now, but there are many more children like him who still need your help Please make a donation to "keep me hair free" and to help make a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers Shaving the way to conquer childhood cancers Fred Ryals
